I've been lurking a while in anticipation of getting a boat. I have a friend I met through a Reel Recovery retreat who needed to let his drift boat go. I pick it up on the 21st of January. I'm sure I will have lots of questions once I have it. Here are a few photos. -Dave

The christening was at Mallard's Rest on the Yellowstone just upstream from Jason's shop. He tuned up our oarlocks, supplied 9 ft oars and one of his solid steel anchors. At the time he did not have plans- but suggested the O'Brien was a good design. The boat now lives in Lyle, WA- a long way from Maine. I modified the design a little- put water tight compartments in the bow and stern.
Good Luck
