Sorry for the super late response... that sounds like a nice setup. I just picked up a switch with a scandi line and a set of tips. I don't catch much, but it is fun to cast anyways!

Jason, I am using the Red Truck 11'0" 7wt. Highly recommended. I've tried them all... This one is in the sub $300 range. Likes a 425 Skagit line, and a 10ft type 3 sink tip. great rod overall.
