Hi, I am from Boise Idaho. I am new to drift boating. My dad and I built our very first drift boat last winter and had an amazing time doing so. I believe it turned out awesome! I have floated part of the Missouri river in Montana, the snake river in Idaho and the Clearwater in Orifino idaho. I love being outdoors and on the water.

Salmon River

I am thinking about taking my wood drift boat on the Salmon River in Idaho to do some steelhead fishing.  Has anyone floated from Lucille to Twin bridges?  If so what is that stretch of the river like?  is there anything to really worry about such as rapids or rock gardens?
