My dad, Ronn Hayes, and I built the cabinets in the "Betty Boop" between 1967 and 1970.

Just about every evening for 3 years Dad would be out in the garage working on the Betty Boop. He was a very successful TV actor, and when he was not in front of the camera he was working in the trees as a full-time arborist. He learned to do this while attending Stanford in the early fifties, and it was his "Plan B" income for over 50 years. Son of Ronn Hayes,early Grand Canyon river guide for Martin Litton & founder/former owner of Wilderness World Inc. I was a river guide for 15 seasons: 50 trips on the Rogue R., 68 trips on the Middle Fork of the Salmon, 4 trips down the Grand Canyon. Started rowing commercially in 1973, rowed my last commercial trip down the Middle Fork in 2002.

Caleghari Eagle, 16 foot inflatable (bucket boat, 1980 issue)
