Epoxy Blush and sanding
I'm finishing glassing up my sides and am wondering about blush. I've rolled out a saturation coat of epoxy on the sanded wood, then squeegeed another coat to partially fill the 4oz. weave. I let that cure overnight at 70 deg. Then rolled another coat without sanding. because of the poor light in my garage I can see a 3 or four small places where the texture of the weave is still present. 2-part Poly
Hi I am thinking of spraying 2-part polyurethane over glass and epoxy, on the exterior of my boat. I like the color choices and cost of Cloverdale Industrial paint. I've sprayed Alkyd based paint, Lacquer, and water-borne polys, with a conversion gun run off of an air compressor. Usually with great results. how does 2 part poly compare? what tips do you guys have for spraying this stuff? Or should I just pick a less desirable color of the Topside paint and go for ease of application?Thanks BrianSee More

I did not see your reply until this morning. I'm still trying to learn this site. It's a bit different for me.
Man, looking for a trailer and getting what probably is a Woody Hindman. I wonder if we'll ever know. Of course mine would have been the plans and yours, The real deal!
Thank you for the encouragement about going the Boat Show. That might have pushed me up the river to attend.

How did you find and come to own your boat.?
I'm looking forward to going to the boat show also and hope to bring my boat. The only hang up is that by the end of winter steelhead season the boat is always looking pretty tired. Maybe I'll get over the feeling that the boat has to be looking like it's a beauty queen. I doubt it.
I love the photos. Keep them coming. You mention that your boat may be an Hindman. That's cool. How many ribs does it have, looks like 10.
I was told (by Cody) when I was picking up my new trailer last year at the wood builder in Springfield that 10 ribs is a very good sign of a Hindman boat.. That shop was Tatman's correct, sold to Randy Dersham of this site? Oh, I'm so confused.
Anyway, I was wondering if you have been given any other clues that your boat my be a Hindman. I'm interested because my boat was built in 68 and I was told that the plans for the boat were given to Leo Cannaday by Hindman earlier when he work for Hindman.
While at Tatmans picking up my trailer, Cody took me into a room that had 5 or six boats. I think two were Hindmans and they looked to be a dead ringer to my 68 McKenzie double ender with a transom. Any clue you could pass on would great.
