Interested in all things boating...For serious enjoyment i have a lovely sadler 26. For a bit of fun i have a little eight footer i designed n built myself. Loved the enjoyment of taking my homemade little gem out for some sea fishing out on the gud auld north sea. (on a calm day that is!)

hi mate, i was gonner make the bow from marine plywood, but is it not cheap, but got some advice from some boating men down at Scarborough harbor and they just said use normal 3mm plywood and coat the whole thing in epoxy resin, then give it a few of varnish, as you can see by the pictures i need to reinforce the bow with more wood, but ill get round it and get it down, no chance of taking it out when i finish( 2 weeks it will be done) as the sea is starting to get rough? have you got any idea's
