Wooden Boat People

By McKenzieDriftBoat.com

I've mostly finished the boat. Took it out for some lake trials today, it didn't sink or do anything unexpected. Just a few more details, paint, latches, etc, but all and all ready to float. Next weekend Desolation/Gray, the water should still be up there, so hopefully I bring it back in one piece.

Thanks to everyone who posts (guilty of not doing that enough) this site has been a valuable resource.
Take a look

It wasn't intended on being a primer but it's a hell of a lot brighter on the lake than in my garage. So I think that I might tone it down a few shades.

As for the Honky I didn't make any changes intentionally. As far as I know its to specs and the other the other guys messed up.

Nice boat jimmy, looks great! Did you build the hull shape exactly the way sandys directions say to do it? i noticed that no two honkies look the same. I am building one right now .
