Whole lotta glassing
Things are churning along--we laid up the bottom of Lodore last night and dropped it on this morning. Even though it is a bad time to be a publisher, there are a lot of other things you can do with crates of books:

This afternoon I drilled all the limber holes into the frames for the open Rogue boat, two at a time:
Tonight the herd of drunken boatmen returned and we glassed Lodore's bottom and did all the deck glass on Euphrates as well. If you keep their hands full of sticky tools, they can't drink as much, or at least as quickly.

No, that is a sandwich construction floor, made of WEST system epoxy and fiberglass inside and out and Divinycell in the innards. When the glass is still wet I press a sheet of .010" PETG plastic (The same stuff blister packaging is made of) into the wet glass and massage the bubbles out. It peels off after the glass kicks leaving a pretty slick surface. It's a new process to me, but I think it will generate a pretty durable layup.

Hey Brad,
Love the sticky tools trick! Is that Plascore you are using for the bottom? Do you use fasteners or just epoxy? I have been thinking aboout trying a plastic bottom for a while now. I enjoy all your posts and thanx for any input.
